Complaints and feedback

Your feedback is very important to us

We take feedback and complaints from our patients very seriously. We use what you tell us to continously improve our services and make sure we are meeting your needs and keeping our patients safe.

On this page you can find out more about all the different ways you can provide feedback. You can also find our "you said, we did" log which details all the changes we have made following feedback from patients.

Complaints

We take complaints very seriously. We aim to ensure that when you interact with one of our services, you are satisfied with your experience. If you feel you need to raise a concern or make a complaint, you will be treated courteously and promptly so that the matter is resolved as quickly as possible.

If your issue is current, i.e. it relates to something happening now, please raise a concern to the senior member of our team there and then. The likelihood is that we will be able to resolve it immediately or within a short period of time. If not, then we encourage you to make a complaint.

If you wish to make a complaint then please contact the Primary Care Sheffield Head of Primary Care, Kiz Haigh.

NHS Friends and Family

The NHS Friends and Family Test is an important feedback tool that supports the fundamental principle that people who use NHS services should have the opportunity to provide feedback on their experience. Listening to the views of patients and staff helps identify what is working well, what can be improved and how.

Leave feedback via NHS.UK

Your review must be about a specific experience and not a general view of the NHS or the service as a whole.

GP patient survey

The GP Patient Survey is an independent survey run by Ipsos on behalf of NHS England. The survey is sent out to over two million people across the UK. The results show how people feel about their GP practice.
